People ask me where the name ‘Endrick’ came from and the simply answer is that I liked the name and it sounded better than 'Ercan Ramadan.'
I was born in London to Turkish Cypriot parents who worked hard to provide for our family. With three older brothers, I had a ready made set of mates but I felt the pressure. They all knew exactly what they wanted to do but for me that moment of clarity never really came. I sort of fell through life going from one venture to another, nothing lasting very long. I played semi-pro football whilst working in the family ice cream shop. I worked in fish & chip shops, then on construction sites. Before moving on to being a wine broker, then working in retail and even made appearances on reality TV juggernaut 'Towie.' But nothing really stuck. All I ever really wanted was to be a business owner.
Everyone around me was progressing and it just felt like I was going backwards drifting from one thing to the next. Not having the courage to try and do what I really wanted. I decided enough was enough.
My last job was in retail, the store sold mens suits as well as casual wear. Being there day to day made me enjoy helping customers pick out their suits and put together looks for special moments in their lives. That's what I had a real passion for, I had always liked looking smart, even from when I was a kid. I was always looking for the next trends- whether it be trainers, t-shirts or tracksuits. But as i grew older my style evolved and inevitably became more grown up. My love for tracksuits became a love for smart attire. I started to understand that clothes were an important part in how you felt about yourself- they could help you feel smart, confident, powerful even. That was where my obsession began.
I decided to not only sell suits but create a brand. A brand with original designs and high quality fabric that is available to everyone. I wanted people to feel good when wearing my suits- but most importantly I wanted to make sure that it was affordable. I wanted give men like me the chance to elevate themselves by having the opportunity to dress with style and elegance, at a reasonable price point.
Endrick was born in my garage at home- through passion and a genuine love for men's fashion. Our aim is to deliver affordable suits, with exceptional quality, creating timeless tailoring with modern styling. We are very excited to have you on this journey with us.
